Come Home to Yourself

You’re used to being the one who holds it together. You care deeply, feel things deeply, and spend so much of your energy thinking about what other people need, how they feel, and whether you’re doing enough.

  • But you’re tired of overthinking everything.

  • Tired of putting so much pressure on yourself.

  • Maybe you’ve tried staying busy, working harder, taking care of everyone else,

  • Changing your body, or simply pushing through, and still, it feels like nothing is ever enough.

Therapy can help you turn some of that attention back toward yourself. To understand what you feel and need, quiet the constant self-criticism, and begin building more trust in yourself and the life you want to live.

Maybe Some of This Feels Familiar…

  • You replay things long after they happen.

A conversation, a decision, a picture of yourself. Something small can stay with you for hours or completely change how you feel.

  • Someone being upset with you feels awful.

You want to fix it immediately, even if that means apologizing, backing down, or ignoring what you needed in the first place.

  • Rest doesn’t always feel like rest.

Even when you finally have time to yourself, your mind is still going. There’s always something you should be doing or could be doing better.

  • You seem okay even when you’re not

Other people see someone capable, happy, and dependable. They may not realize how overwhelmed or anxious you feel underneath.

  • Food and your body take up too much space.

A meal, the mirror, the scale, or a photo can bring up guilt and self-criticism and affect how you feel for the rest of the day.

  • Your inner critic is loud.

You notice your mistakes quickly and can be much harder on yourself than you would ever be on someone you love.

What Would it Feel Like to Have More Room For Yourself?

Imagine being able to trust your decisions without analyzing them from every angle, say no without spending the rest of the day feeling guilty, and actually rest without thinking about everything you should be doing instead.

Maybe food and your body wouldn’t take up so much space in your mind. You could feel your emotions without becoming completely overwhelmed by them, and care deeply about the people you love without feeling responsible for keeping everyone happy.

Ultimately, I want therapy to help you feel more comfortable being yourself. To understand what matters to you, trust what you need, and have more energy for the relationships, experiences, and parts of life that are meaningful to you.

We can work together to make more room for that.

Meet Kellie

I’m a therapist who loves working with thoughtful, sensitive people who want to understand themselves on a deeper level.

I’ve spent years helping adults work through trauma, anxiety, perfectionism, eating disorders, body image, and self-worth. I care about creating the kind of relationship where you can be honest, ask questions, laugh, get frustrated, and talk about the things that are harder to say out loud.

I also bring a lot of myself to this work. I’m endlessly interested in what shapes us, why certain patterns stick around, and what helps us grow into lives that feel more like our own.

What Would You Like Support With?

  • Trauma and Complex Trauma

Past experiences can continue to affect how you feel, respond, and connect with others, even years later. Therapy can help you process what happened and feel safer and more grounded in your life now.

  • Anxiety & Perfectionism

For when you feel overwhelmed by everything on your plate, your mind won’t slow down, or you’re constantly putting pressure on yourself to do more, get it right, and keep everything under control.

  • Eating Disorder Recovery

Food and your body can take up an exhausting amount of mental space. Therapy can help you build a more peaceful relationship with both and feel more at home in your body.

  • Body Image & Self-Worth

For when how you feel about yourself gets tangled up with your body, appearance, other people’s opinions, or whether you feel good enough.

  • EMDR Therapy

For experiences you understand logically but still feel emotionally stuck in. EMDR can help process painful memories, triggers, and beliefs that continue to affect you in the present.

  • Internal amily Systems (IFS) Therapy

Get to know the different parts of yourself with more understanding and less judgment. IFS can help with self-criticism, anxiety, perfectionism, shame, and patterns that feel hard to change.
